How to find the serial number of the power meter module installed in a MaxTester Optical platform?
Procedure to follow
If you need calibration or repair on the power meter of your MaxTester, you will need to provide the serial number of both the testing module and power meter module.
Here is the guideline on how to find the serial number of the Power Meter (PM) installed in a MaxTester platform:
The serial number can be found in the MaxTester software and on the power meter.
If you can power on your Maxtester
1. Click on Configuration
2. Select System Information and click on the Hardware tab. The serial number of the Power Meter will be listed as PM-MAX-2X-VFL
If your Maxtester cannot be turned on, you can remove the 4 screws holding the power meter and eject the module
The Power Meter serial number will be located on the label below the part number PM-MAX-2X-VFL .
