How to assign jobs in EXFO Exchange

Applies to

EXFO Exchange

Introduction

When you create jobs in EXFO Exchange, either directly in the web application or by importing a CSV, you may wish to assign those jobs to users afterwards. This procedure will tell you how to do this from the web application.

Procedure to follow

In Exchange, there are different methods to assign a job.

  1. Assign a job upon creation
  2. Assign job during import
  3. Assign one or more existing jobs
  4. Assign one specific job

Find below the steps for each method of assigning jobs.

Prerequisite

Independent of the method you use to assign a job, the person you want to assign it to must have access to the workspace in your Organization account.

Please refer to Inviting users to your EXFO Exchange Organization from the web application for more details on  how to invite users in Exchange.

1. Assign a job upon creation

When you create a job from the web application (using the button), you can specify one or more assignees directly from the Add job creation dialog.

2. Assign job during import

When you import jobs by CSV, you can optionally specify the email of the persons you want to assign each job in the assignees column.
