Procedure to use EXFO / TeamViewer Quick Support (QS).

FTB-1V2, FTB-1V2 Pro, FTB-2, FTB-2 Pro, FTB-4 Pro, FTB-500, LTB-1, LTB-2, LTB-8 and LTB-12

Introduction

EXFO QS is based on TeamViewer Quick Support and is pre-installed on most EXFO platforms. This is a very useful tool allowing remote access and control from a support specialist where assistance or troubleshooting is required.

The procedure detailed below will help you find and start the EXFO QS application.

Procedure to follow

  1. Open Mini Toolbox

  1. Then go to Utilities

  1. Select EXFO QS

  1. Once you click on the icon you will have your credentials on the screen (your ID and password)




    Note: In case you don’t find the EXFO QS (probably because the software is not up to date), try to find it in the Windows (C:/) drive in your FTB.

 

  1. Open File Explorer on the unit and go to the Windows (C:/) drive

  2. Click on the EXFO QS Support folder

          3.Launch the EXFO QS application
