Can I generate reports with the basic (Starter plan) version of FastReporter 3

If you have the basic Starter-Plan version of FastReporter 3, you can still generate reports. Here are the two options you have.

PDF individual Report

1. While your file is loaded and selected (1) in FastReporter 3, select the ‘’Report’’ tab (2) and then select the ‘’PDF individual Report’’ option. (3)

2. You will then be asked to choose a folder where to save the report. When you are ready select ‘’OK’’.

The second option to create report is to Generate the Application Report, in this article we will show the example for the OTDR application Report.

1. While your file is loaded and selected (1) in FastReporter 3, select the ‘’OTDR’’ tab (2) and select the ‘’Generate OTDR Application Report’’ option (3).

2. Then from the ‘’Generate Report’’ window, you can set the ‘’Save at’’ location to either ‘’Source file folder’’ or ‘’New folder’’ (1). The ‘’File type’’ let you choose between PDF or XML (2). In the ‘’Sections’’ option you can select the information you want to appear in the report. (3) Finally, when you are ready select ‘’OK’’ to generate the report. (4)
