Information
EXFO platforms hosting a Windows Operating System are typically sold with either a Windows 8.1 Pro or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise (CBB or LTSC) OS preinstalled on the device.
Consult the Main Features section of the relevant platform User Guide for further information.
It is possible to upgrade platforms running a Windows 8.1 Pro Operating System by purchasing an appropriate migration key from EXFO.
To ensure that your platform meets the required hardware specifications, speak with EXFO's Technical Sales team or an authorized distributor, who will be able to assist you with the upgrade process.

IMPORTANT NOTE To prevent compatibility and servicing issues, do not attempt to install an unauthorized Operating System on your platform. When performing an Operating System upgrade or Reset / Recovery procedure on your platform, you should always carefully follow the appropriate EXFO-documented process to avoid having to return your device for repair. Contact your relevant Technical Support group for assistance if required. |
