How do I delete my EXFO Exchange account

Introduction

The following procedure explains how to delete your user account from the EXFO Exchange system.

Requirement: You will need to install the EXFO Exchange mobile application to proceed. If the mobile app is not already installed on you smart device (phone or tablet), you can download it from Apple’s App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Procedure to follow

Steps

  1. Launch the EXFO Exchange mobile app
  2. Sign in with your current email and password (the one you want to delete)
  3. Open the main menu and select your name to access your user profile
  4. At the bottom of the page, select Delete account and confirm your action.

What is deleted during this procedure?

Once your user account is deleted, your personal information (i.e. your name) will be permanently removed and you will no longer be able to sign in to EXFO Exchange from any device with your current email and password.

However, all test results you uploaded and the jobs you contributed to will remain in the system, as well as the organizations and workspaces you had access to.

Note: If you deleted your EXFO Exchange account by mistake, please contact our Technical Support team for assistance in restoring access to the original workspaces you had. As if you create a new account with the original email you will not have the same access as previously.

Note: If you want to completely remove all traces of your identity from EXFO Exchange, please contact our Technical Support team to submit a request.
