Introduction
Sometimes, when the application fails to load and reinstalling the software does not fix the issue, it is then necessary to perform a clean installation.
Procedure to follow
Ensure show Hidden items is enabled (Open File Explorer and select the View tab).
Delete the folders from the following locations:
Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > EXFO > FastReporter 3
Computer > Local Disk (C:) > ProgramData > EXFO > FastReporter 3
Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Users > **USERNAME** > AppData > Local > EXFO Inc > FastReporter 3
Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Users > **USERNAME** > AppData > Local > EXFO_Inc > FastReporter 3
Then run the FastReporter 3.x setup.exe (needs to be same version as currently installed) and select Remove FastReporter 3 from the Program Maintenance window.
Once removed, the PC is now ready for a fresh installation.
