Problem
MAX Optical tester reporting Null Reference Exception when using the ODTR application. This can occur following an upgrade of the unit or, more rarely, in normal operation.
Troubleshooting steps
Possible Cause 1: System Configuration issue
Proposed Solution:
- Perform a Recovery on the unit. Please refer to the knowledge article How to perform a recovery on the MAX optical unit, for instructions.
Possible Cause 2: Hardware issue
Proposed Solution:
- Request an RMA for repair at an EXFO authorized service center.
