MAX-700B/C/D series

MAX Optical tester reporting Null Reference Exception when using the ODTR application. This can occur following an upgrade of the unit or, more rarely, in normal operation. 

Possible Cause 1: System Configuration issue

Proposed Solution:

• Perform a Recovery on the unit. Please refer to the knowledge article How to perform a recovery on the MAX optical unit, for instructions.

Possible Cause 2: Hardware issue 

Proposed Solution:

• Request an RMA for repair at an EXFO authorized service center.
