FastReporter 3: How to create a report

Introduction

Instructions on how to create a report in FastReporter 3. For more details on the reporting features please refer to FastReporter 3 User Guide ‘’Generating Reports’’ section.

Please note that full reporting features as shown in this article are only available with ''Plus'' and ''Ultimate'' plans. If you have ''Starter'' plan you can still create pdf report for single files.  

Procedure to follow

  1. Select or highlight the files or measurements you want to include in the report.

  1. From the toolbar, select the ''Report'' tab.

  1. Then click the ‘’Select’’ icon.

  1. From the Report window, you can first set up the location you want your file to be saved by selecting the ‘’…’’. Secondly select the template you want to use. In this example we’ll select the OTDR template. Thirdly, select the ''File type'' you want, either PDF from Excel Template or Excel. Finally, when you are ready select ‘’OK’’ to create the report.
