EXFO offer a range of validated MSA-compliant pluggable transceiver modules for use in test instrument interfaces.
Validated transceivers will have undergone qualification in compatible instruments to ensure full functionality.

Multi-Source Agreements "MSA-compliance" refers to a pluggable transceiver module's adherence to agreements made by manufacturers to ensure compatibility of the physical, electrical, optical and management characteristics between different units. There are a multitude of MSAs in existence, produced by a variety of different organizational bodies from different industry areas, and a transceiver may adhere to several different agreements. |
Product codes for each pluggable module are given, and viewing the details of a transceiver module will show interface/rate information and compatible instruments.
