The 'Basic Warranty' provided with EXFO instruments does not include recalibration or additional performance verifications of devices unless a requirement of a warranty repair or otherwise explicitly stated, nor does it include device consumables and accessories (including but not limited to: batteries, connectors, adaptors, cleaning products, carry cases, chargers and patchcords/leads).
Consult the appropriate section of the relevant device User Guide for specific warranty information.
Additional support services and extended warranty periods may be purchased where applicable; contact the appropriate Customer Service group for further information.
Warranty services provided by EXFO do not apply to instruments subject to misuse, negligence or operation outside of the specifications detailed in the User Guide for the product.
Note that this restriction also applies to unauthorized 'gray market' products.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION The warranty of EXFO instruments is considered null and void in the event of any modifications, alterations or other unauthorized access to the device, unless otherwise explicitly permitted by an authorized EXFO representative. To avoid injury or damage to instruments, only trained personnel authorized by EXFO should attempt repair or upgrade of EXFO instruments. |
