This knowledge base article covers what is required from the MAX tester. Once the Exchange logs and complete FlowAutomation folder have been transferred via USB stick to your computer.

You can then zip them and send them to EXFO via a provided upload link or email  (depending on zipped size).

Procedure to follow

Using the File Manager application which is accessible on the MAX optical tester desktop you will need to copy the following folder and logs onto an inserted USB stick.

NOTE: Ensure your USB stick is using the following supported file systems: FAT, FAT32, and exFAT. The NTFS file system is not supported by the MAX Optical testers.

Note: /DATA/Metrino is a hidden folder. So, the user may have to make it visible first by ensuring the File managers View > Folder Options menu selections are unselected as below:

NOTE: There may be more than one Exchange log file in the folder, so it is better to copy the whole EXFO folder to the inserted USB stick.

Once you have saved the Exchange logs and whole FlowAutomation folder to the USB stick you can transfer them to a computer so they can be sent to EXFO for analysis.
